People may have different destination preferences, budgets, and travel-time limits. Collecting suggestions before voting can help you choose a trip that reflects everyone’s preferences.
You can also supply the options yourself
If you already have a destination shortlist, enter all the options yourself and invite participants to vote. If the destination is undecided, collect suggestions first.

Useful requirements to include in the notes
Include the dates, starting point, transport, budget, group size, and anything to avoid in the notes. Use destination names of up to 80 characters for options. Shared requirements make comparisons easier before voting.

From collecting ideas to making a decision
- Enter the topic and travel requirements on the homepage, then select “Collect options from everyone”
- Copy and send the invitation and participation URL so people can add options
- Review requirements and duplicates on the management page
- When the options are ready, the creator checks the settings on the management page and selects “Start voting”
- Send the same participation URL and invite votes
- Share the results, then discuss bookings or next steps
Things to keep in mind
- Check availability and prices before making bookings based on the results
- Put suggestion and voting deadlines in the notes and tell participants
- Avoid posting unnecessary personal or booking information
- Polls are saved for 30 days, so use another method to manage the entire trip
The creator needs to start voting
If your options are ready, enter one per line on the homepage and select “Start voting with these options”. To collect ideas, select “Collect options from everyone” and share the participation URL. Initial options are saved. When the options are ready, the creator selects “Start voting” on the management page. No one can vote until then. After voting starts, the same participation URL still works.
